NO POINT IN WAITING FOR AUDIO LAUNCH NOW
…says Venkat Prabhu, who has complained to the CBCID about the leak of Biriyani songs
Janani Karthik After all the songs of Biriyani were illegally leaked online, Venkat Prabhu, Karthi and Yuvan lodged a complaint with the CBCID (ADGP Karan Singha) in the city. The latest update is that the audio launch of the film, which was scheduled for later this month, has been advanced. Says director Venkat Prabhu, “Our complaint is against piracy. It was not just one song, but the entire album that has been leaked online. The whole team of Biriyani is really upset about this. This is a landmark film for Yuvan as it is his hundredth project. Actually, we’d planned a lavish audio launch on Yuvan’s birthday later in the month, but now, there’s no point in waiting till that time as the songs are already out. We will release the album officially tomorrow and the audio will hit the stores directly.”
However, it looks like the celebrations for ‘Yuvan 100’ are still on. “We don’t want to disappoint Yuvan’s fans,” he adds, “So, the function will be held on his birthday as per plan.”
