Hansika Motwani plays on the female leads in director Hari's Suriya starrer Singam 2 which is the sequel to the super hit film Singam which has Suriya and Anushka in the lead. The sequel also has Anushka in the lead along with Hansika and also Anjali has done a special song in the film. While it revealed earlier that Hansika would be seen as a school teacher in the film, there is a little more that has come to light on the character of the pretty actress. It is said that Hansika who plays a school teacher meets a tragic end in the film because of the baddies in the film. It is learnt that the bubbly heroine will die in Singam 2 and rest as usual is the hero avenging her death. Produced by Studio Green K E Gnanvel Raja, the film stars Suriya, Anushka and Hansika in the leads with Vivek and Santhanam in supporting roles.
